Remembering Richard, a brilliant stepfather and friend. It was good to read tributes from family members who had been distant from Richard for many years. For near on forty years he was a brilliant husband to my mum Rena and when she needed care when her cancer took ‘hold’, Richard was there with Diane, Dawn and Mandy to look after her. I would especially like to thank Mandy, who for the ten years after mum’s death watched over and cared for Richard single handily. To her, Richard was her second father. Richard I will always be grateful to you for the love and care you gave to my mum. Richard (stepson).
