I remember my darling Brother Dickie who was always ready to help whenever we needed him he made me many things suitable for our needs like lovely small tables, a shoe cover to my design and a small window which he fitted many years ago and is still going strong now. Then one Christmas when I had flu he rang my daughter and told her to put The Sewing Quarter Channel on as it would help my recovery as it taught you how to make different things and it was very helpful to me. There were also times ,when they were young, he would bring his twins round and I would look after them while he worked on his car in our garage talking of which there was an occasion when I asked him to remove his car from the garage as I was selling the house which he did quickly and without fuss only to find a few days later the floor where he had been collapsed so because he made no fuss a d did it quickly it saved his life. I loved how we could talk about gardening he would tell me about what veg he had planted and I would help him with plants and their names. I am really grateful that his sons were there looking after him when he needed them most . I and my family are really going to miss him and his funny jokes and sayings more than we can say here. So rest in peace my darling Brother from your sister Maggie.xx
